What’s your damage? Our 2017 production—Heathers The Musical (High School Edition)—was a hit, and played to sell-out crowds at the gorgeous Starbright Theater over a weekend of performances on Aug 10-13, 2017. A talented group of young thespians from all over the Peninsula and South Bay blew audiences away! We had kids ranging from ages 13 to 19 in the show, and our entire behind-the-scenes crew were between 15 and 21 years of age!!

2017 Leadership Team – Heathers the Musical HSE
Director: Lindsay Denton
Lindsay oversees all performance aspects of our production. She served as director for WG Teen Drama Camp’s 2016 production, “13 the Musical” and was also a student director at WGHS. She has 2 years’ experience with the “Young Playwrights Project,” Theatre Works Silicon Valley. Lindsay received the Velda Garcia Drama Scholarship and Notre Dame De Namur Talent Scholarship, 2014. Lindsay was the Musical Director for Willow Glen’s Day Camp for the ARTS for two previous seasons. She plays the guitar, writes her own music, and is an accomplished singer.

Choreographer: Katelin Foley
Katelin is a junior at DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois. She has been dancing since the age of two. She choreographed last year’s WG Teen Drama Camp production “13 the Musical” and has helped choreograph several shows with Starting Arts Summer production. Once upon a time, she was a cast member of 13 the Musical at Children’s Musical Theater. She is thrilled to choreograph such a contemporary and exciting musical in its West coast high-school-age premier.

Vocal Director: Janet Henriques
Janet Henriques is soon to be a sophomore in college, majoring in theatre at Columbia College Chicago, and she has been very involved in the different aspects of theatre consistently since her freshman year of high school. Janet has had experience working on the technical side of theatre, setting up lighting, visuals, floorboards and all of the seemingly small pieces of theatre that it takes to put together and complete a show. During her senior year of high school, she got experience being a Teacher’s Aide for the school’s Beginning Drama class, which gave her the chance to explore the role of teacher and allowed her to understand how theatre is handled with those who have special needs.
She has been part of the production, has acted in, or has been involved in both aspects of theatre in the following shows at Lincoln High School: Game of Tiaras, Singing In the Rain, The Shakespeare Stealer, The Wizard of Oz, The Importance of Being Earnest, Xanadu, Prospect High: Brooklyn, Still Life With Iris, and How to Succeed In Business Without Really Trying. She has also taken part in the yearly “one-acts” that Lincoln’s drama department produces. She has been part of the Vivace Youth Chorus for ten years, and has been their Camp Counselor for three years.
Production Manager: Marijeanne Santina
Marijeanne Santina has spent her entire life in theater and is excited to be taking on a new role in the theater world as a production manager. She attends CSU Monterey Bay and will be a junior in the fall. Her past theater experience include shows such as, “Legally Blonde”, “West Side Story”, “Cabaret”, and “Putnam County Spelling Bee.” She is eager for everyone to see the amazing work the cast and crew has been putting into this production.
Producer: Heidi Eisips
Heidi volunteers with a variety of community organizations in Silicon Valley focused on education and the performing arts. Heidi loves being involved in theatre as both a performer and a producer. Over the years, she has performed in Barnaby, Helen Keller, The Music Man and Annie. Heidi has produced and volunteer-supported over a dozen stage productions. Heidi recently adapted a parody of Hamilton for a stage production in Los Gatos, CA (Mar 2017). A native of Los Angeles, Heidi has a BA in English Literature from UC Berkeley, and an MBA from Yale University. Heidi recently returned to graduate school to pursue a doctorate in education at SJSU.
In her professional life, Heidi has more than 25 years’ experience in all aspects of high tech marketing and more than 15 years of experience in education. She helps companies and organizations craft their market and customer education strategy; grow their web, social and mobile presence; and create targeted content and develop curriculum for any media channel and audience. Heidi has worked extensively with both for-profit and non-profit organizations, across a variety of industries.
